Who we are

Cuttle is run by Jonas Detrois, Switzerland. Swiss law applies.

The free test

For our first clients only, by invitation. We make up to 5 clips from one of your recordings, free and with no strings. In return we ask for honest feedback and for your OK to show the clips on cuttle.ch once you have posted them yourself. You keep every right to your clips and may post them anywhere.

What every clip includes

Captions checked by a person, clean sound, your look and one round of changes. Clips are 15 to 90 seconds, highlights up to 3 minutes.

Prices and paying

Prices are on cuttle.ch/prices: one clip 89, 8 clips for 690, 16 clips for 1,190, 32 clips for 2,190 a month, one event 990. You pay up front by card or TWINT. From about 1,000 a month we can send an invoice instead, payable within 14 days. Not registered for Swiss VAT, so no VAT is added.

Subscriptions

Monthly, cancel any time, it ends at the end of the month you paid for. Clips you don't use roll over one month. Yearly: pay 10 months, get 12.

When you get your clips

Single clips within 3 working days, subscription clips within 2 working days of the upload, events within 48 hours, changes within 1 working day. If we're late, we tell you before, and add a clip for free.

Your recordings

You confirm that the recording is yours or that you may use it, including the voices and faces in it and any music. We use your recordings only to make your clips. We use software, including AI tools, to find moments and write captions; a person checks every clip. We never sell your recordings or hand them to anyone for their own use. Originals are deleted 30 days after delivery unless you ask us to keep them.

Showing your clips

We may show clips we made for you as examples of our work, only after you have posted them. If you'd rather we never show them, choose "Keep private" (plus 15%).

Refunds

If we don't deliver what we promised, you get your money back (or a credit, if you'd rather). People buying privately in the EU may cancel within 14 days, unless they asked us to start right away and the clip has been delivered.

Responsibility

Our liability is limited to the price of the order in question, except where the law doesn't allow a limit.
